Students will...
  1. Identify some of the causes and effects of migratory patterns to Singapore in the 19th Century
  2. Compare and contrast basic migratory trends in the 19th and 21st Centuries
B) Brief Description of Activity:


Through the use of web 2.0 tools like Wallwisher and Wordle, students will learn about immigration to Singapore in the 19th Century and compare it with current immigration trends, so as to relate to its prevalent causes and effects in a more authentic fashion. Students will also be able to see how Geography and History are interrelated in the SST Humanities classroom, where learning takes place in a whole new way.
